Affordable Care Act Town Hall Meeting

AAMA to host Affordable Care Act Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, April 8 beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the AAMA auditorium, located at 6001 Gulf Freeway, Building E. The town hall meeting is open to the public and information will be available in English and Spanish. The town hall meeting will cover the Affordable Care Act Special Enrollment Period and qualifications including: change in income or household status such as loss of coverage after a divorce or job loss, loss of other health insurance, gaining citizenship or lawful presence in the U.S., adopting or having a child, or getting married. With the special enrollment period open for tax season until April 30, experts will be on hand to answer questions about tax implications, enroll attendees into the Marketplace, and set up appointments.
