The East End Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present our Construction and Government Contracting Workshop Series to help companies secure business through Government Contracting. This four part series culminates in a Panel Event where Series Participants will have the opportunity to engage with prominent government entities and industry experts. This workshop series is open and free to members and non-members. Each session will be virtual and designed to deliver an opportunity to engage with industry Professionals and Peers in a live discussion and lecture setting. At the completion of the series, attendees will receive a certificate of completion, a calendar for all public entities, connections to vocational and technical schools, and coordinating underemployed and 2nd chance organizations.

Julie Irvin Hartman

Julie Irvin Harman, CF APMP, is a certified proposal manager, entrepreneur, and presenter. Ms. Hartman has decades of government procurement experience and a win rate of 87%, resulting in $5 Billion in contracts for her clients. She has led proposals and presentations for multimillion-dollar companies across diverse industries. Ms. Hartman has a BS and a BFA from Sam Houston State University and is pursuing her EMBA at Texas A&M.
 
Susan M. Repka

Susan M. Repka, President, SMR Business Services, Inc., has two decades of experience working with small and women-owned businesses. As an expert in certification for women-owned businesses, she assists small businesses in the certification process, creates capabilities statements, and responds to government RFPs.
